My Three Songs #4

Post by Tdarcos »

These three songs have something in common.

1. Anne Murray, "Shadows in the Moonlight"
2. Cheryl Lynn, "Starlove"
3. Bonnie Raitt, "Something to Talk About"

Hint: The titles are not related, nor is it that they are all performed by women.

The titles all begin with "S", and all three are sung by women.

You don't read, do you? While the titles are not related to the songs connection to each other - and I did not realize they all started with S - I specifically said, "nor is it that they are all performed by women. "

New Hint: So forget the titles, it's nothing in the titles, and that they are all performed by women is also irrelevant. The singers of any or all of the songs could have been male or female.

The names of the songs are all related to the women who are singing them.

No. By the way, are you trying to be like the warden in The Shawshank Redemption was to Andy?

It has nothing to do with the names of the songs. It has nothing to do with the names of the women singing them.

Hint: It has to do with something done, or proposed to be done.

Close enough. I would have said it was about the singer's previous experience of, or intent to, make love to her lover. These had to play on the radio so they would never be that explicit.
