Popular performers / bands that are always good

Post by Tdarcos »

In a mirror to Pinback's "groups that can't sing" I want to open a thread on those performers who consistently produce good songs.

And I'm sure there will be some music I don't like.

First recommendation:

Anita Baker.

I can't believe this could be the end."

The Police never had a bad album, and arguably never had a bad song.
I don't have to say anything. I'm a doctor, too.

WHAT? I'd argue they had more bad albums than good ones at this point, but the good ones were so exceptional that we give them a break.

Snakes and fucking Arrows? C'mon.

Peter Cetera (this might be related to why Chicago was very good)

Neil Diamond

Bob Seger

Hold it. You don't get to just dismiss the example. You have to give an example for the one(s) you disagree with. "Claims made without evidence may be dismissed without evidence."

Next entry.

The Beach Boys.
