Huh. Well I've seen the windy-blow chip remover but honestly it just adds to the cycle time and the operator can do it just as quickly with a blow gun.
The copper blower is just a waste of time and the probe condom is safe but dumb.

Its a Haas CNC. We have a couple of them. Nice machines but considered disposable. The smaller sizes are kinda flimsy. Use them for ten years and throw them out and get a new one. Mostly used for aluminum parts as the spindles are belt drive. High rpm but no heavy cuts.

Bridgeport for life!

Jet is my 2nd fav CNC brand. Never heard of Haas but my dad probably has. These machines and injection molding machines are really fascinating to me but I only have limited experience.

i liked his sign on the machine, too:

They can only corrupt and ruin
What good forces have invented or made.

Well, it's a guy who SOMEHOW got that one for personal use, so it's a bit eccentric.

He sure wouldn't have a sign like that at a workplace ( even though it's accurate) Human Resources would have a shit fit

It's mainly a Canadian guy dicking around in his shop for your entertainment. Also, his daughter is ADORABLE.
