I didn't see a physician before I gained all the weight. I figure if I could do that by myself, I could also handle getting rid of it.

It's a personal thing you're doing.

They do if they dropped it on their foot.

Start: 269.4
Goal: 268
Actual: 265.6
Loss: 3.8

A momentous week, as I've now officially lost 50 pounds, and am now, medically-speaking, only "obese"! Goodbye, "morbidly!"

I'm going to do away with the weekly "goals". I've found that weight loss is something you do now. There's no need to bring time into it.

Actually, "obese class II" is the next classification below morbid obesity.

Congratulations on now only being "severely obese"!

"And continue!" is supposed to be italicized. So it should read

Above all else... We shall go on... And continue!

Thirty years ago when I created this motto I had a long period of meditation over several days as to whether or not "and" should be capitalized.

Pinback is doing something positive with his life and I think we should not tear him down over this.

Considering this voyage of transformation you are now going through would you consider doing a Full Paul and SHOWING us the food that is SAVING YOUR LIFE?

Of course, we know what the elipses mean to you, which is why you deleted them:

"Above all else, despite any short-term, or fake weight loss, We shall go on eating, And continue!"

Start: 265.6
End: 267.4
Gain: 1.8

Whew, rough week. Spent most of it recovering from just blowing it out over the weekend, both food and beverage-wise, but the biggest problem was that I haven't been able to do my three-mile walks, because I appear to have strained a leg muscle doing my three-mile walks.

Hopefully that gets better, soon. And let's keep it together this weekend, shall we?

Pretty standard week. Whaddya want? We're not setting goals here anymore, but wouldn't sub-260 next week just be the bee's knees?

Friday, September 15, 2017

Start: 261.2
End: 261.4
Gain: 0.2

Rough week, mentally, physically, emotionally, the whole deal. Haven't been walking. Have been snacking. All in all, I'm delighted that there was virtually no change. Hopefully we can hop back on the winning train this week.

No bee's knees. :(

I'm up 7 since my wedding. I'll start keeping track here tomorrow.

September 29, 2017: 262.8

Been a bad few weeks. Been a bad month. Emotionally, mentally, physically. At the end of it, the fact that I'm still only a pound a half up from my lowest point is remarkable to me, and gives me confidence that I'll never balloon up again, even if I appear to have hit a bit of a plateau in the 260s.

Not sure how that happened, but I'll take it. First sub-260 of the thread. All of my old 2X shirts fit again. Hey now.
