The Pinback Fat Thread
No more fatass challenges. Let's just get this done.
The biggest number I saw on the scale was 317.
Two months ago it was 300.
This past Friday, it read 277.6. Progress is significant and steady.
In this thread, I will report our weekly progress on Friday mornings. The goal is 2.5 pounds per week. At that rate, by 2018, I should once again resemble something in the general shape of a human being.
This week's goal: 275.
Let's go.

Weekly Loss: 2.2
I'm going to dial the goal back to 2 per week instead of 2.5. I could not have dieted or exercised harder this week, and didn't quite hit the 2.5, so let's just say, 2 (or so) a week, and we're good. Whatever. Something in the 2-ish range.
Next weeks goal: 273

Three miles each morning is commendable. I walked three miles on Friday, but I did it one mile at a time, at three different times. You are doing great!
I have been calorie tracking with MyFitnessPal lately. There are a lot of things that are high in calories that I had no idea. Like cheesecake.

Here is the spotting game I play along the way:
Cars (on Moorehead only): 10 points
Humans (not in cars): 50 points
Turkeys: 100 points
Pat a horse on the head: 200 points (per horse)
Deer: 500 points
Bunny: 2000 points
Armadillo: 10000 points
(All of those things have been previously spotted/done on the route. The armadillo, only once.)

Loss: 6.0
If last week's weight seemed artificially high, this one seems artificially low.
We'll set next week's goal to 268, to allow this to even out a little. Also, I may be going at it a little TOO hard. By 8 PM every night I am dead exhausted. But we'll see, maybe that's just what it takes.

It is such a strange phenomenon, that no matter how well you're doing on any health-related endeavor, someone will immediately tell you how you're doing it wrong or what you should be doing instead.
We all knew it would be Billy Mays for this one, since Paul isn't here, and Finsternis is too large to fit into his computer room anymore.
