I voted for the original series and was going to say this almost verbatim but ICJ beat me to it:

You said, Okay, I picked Voyager, fight me," and in another thread Jonsey said he likes to go to a nearby freeway exit and pick fights for breakfast, whereupon I used that "Fight Club" quote, so when you mentioned fighting I used it again. It's a thing around here when someone says something which might repeat something else, often someone else makes a repetition of something they said or quotes something someone else said. You'll get the hang of it when you've been here a while. This place is very eclectic.

I might have said "this place is very electric" but that would be too shocking.

This is literally something only you do. No one else here plucks random words from people's responses and then posts unrelated movie quotes or song lyrics with that word in them.

So far you're the only one I've seen do this, so I'm going to chalk it up to your additional, uh, eccentricities

If you swap out the word "unrelated" for "related" in your response then I would have to correct you by saying AArdvark does that quite frequently.

When have I posted song lyrics, Commander-style? Or made Boy's Life, Readers' Digest jokes based on some oblique reference?

Oh. I voted for the original series. I had the correct opinion here.

Would you admit that if Wrath of Khan was an option, you would have voted for it over the original series?

If Ricardo Volare Montoban hadn't done Space Seed first ST2 wouldn't bad phone typing.
It was a good movie, except for the ear bugs part, but still gotta vote for TOS, even the stinkers in the third season.

I'm gonna ask more from a couple of you in 2021. Not many, but a couple.

Sorry, touch screen typing while being annoyed because my sentence structure kept changing in my head. I just typed what I felt cause the words wouldnt sit still. Additionally because there's no second chances once you hit submit, puts more pressure to get it right.

Absolutely. Wrath of Kahn was great not just as Science fiction, but as fiction. This could have been a story about two submarines and a nuke rather than two spaceships and a planet-killer bomb. And it could have been done that way, and would have worked. Or two sailing ships and a giant sea monster trying to pull them under like the Kraken..

Ok, definitely my bad, I'll try to fix that to at least let you also downvote.
