Do you guys have a favorite HDMI Switch?

Post by Casual Observer »

Do you guys have a preferred brand of HDMI Switch? I've gone through 3 in as many years and even though I paid for an Asurion plan for this recent one I just can't bring myself to deal with that horrible company again over a measly $29 splitter. Are all of them garbage and I just need to realize that I have to buy one every year? Are there ones that are like $50 or $60 that actually work and don't die in a year? Flack is the master of home theater so hopefully he or someone else here can help me out with this conundrum. I need to order something from Amazon by tonight so please help.

I never even thought about this being a thing! I use an A/V cable switcher all the time for NES/TurboDUO/Whatever, but I don't think I have ever had need for more than 2 HDMI devices plugged up to a television at once. Good to know.

I've bought two of the less expensive ones for different projects (or had them purchased) and "even for the price" the cheapy Monoprice ones held up well.

You know who can't buy HDMI switches? The 400000000000 people who died this week of covid 19 in California because you keep voting Pelosi back into office.

This is a Trump-class message. Completely inaccurate and off-topic.

There haven't ever been that many people in existence, combined.

That message has as much relevance to this thread as if I had said I don't have a favorite HDMI switch because I'm not into kinky sex.

Man 1: Yesterday, my girlfriend and I were busy setting up an HDMI switch.
Man2: "Setting up an HDMI switch," oh is that what they;re calling it now?
Alan Francis wrote a book containing everything men understand about women. It consisted of 100 blank pages.
