I
saw
the
episode
tonight
where
they
got
stuck
in
the
RV
out
in
the
desert.

I
really
wish
they
would've
showed
a
bunch
of
flashbacks
to
their
previous
wacky
hijinks.

Then
it
would've
completely
felt
like
one
of
those
corny
80s
sitcom
episodes
where
all
the
characters
get
trapped
in
an
elevator
and
relived
past
episodes.

Will you please fix your post, it's WAY too wide. I had to like scroll three pages over to read the whole thing.

You know what this show needs?

Way more unbelievable coincidences.

Yeah, that worked well.

All right. Gonna lay down some ground rules.

1) No more breaking tables.

2) I'm going to fuck that Vodka Robot.

3) The Happiness Engine, no more guesses about the show's plot.

Does anyone else feel like they inserted Hank as a sort of Deus Ex Machina for Jesse? Its kinda a bummer, because up until now there really hasn't been any obvious "soap opera coincidence" to let the writers escape from a corner they put themselves into.

Going to be over soon enough in any event.

WHAT????????????????????????????? LOL You mean besides every other scene in every episode? This whole show is nothing but a string of unbelievable coincidences masquerading as plot.

Well, nothing comes to mind off the top of my head, but I also have a bad memory. I will need to watch Breaking Bad......... four times, start to finish, before it's really IN my memory.

What's an example of such a coincidence? I am saying there probably ARE, and when you mention it I'll go, "Oh. Yeah."

Way too many to mention. It's ridiculous. The whole show is nothing but contrived coincidence after contrived coincidence after contrived coincidence in a lazy effort to create drama. It's the laziest writing I've ever seen. Hell, even the basic premise of the show is such a ridiculous coincidence that it's impossible to believe.

The teacher who decides to make meth JUST HAPPENS to be related to the apparent only DEA officer within 8 states (and really, really sucks at his job to an unbelievable degree) who JUST HAPPENS to go on a ride along with him to a bust where he JUST HAPPENS to be the only guy who sees the actual cook who JUST HAPPENS to be his former student who ends up cooking with until they kill a guy who JUST HAPPENS to be a snitch for the apparent only DEA officer within 8 states who JUST HAPPENS to be his brother in law.

Jesse and Walt are trying to escape Tuco...oh, wow, what a coincidence that right that second Hank JUST HAPPENS to show up.

Walt goes to a bar where he JUST HAPPENS to sit next to the father of the girl he's fixing to kill who JUST HAPPENS to be the air traffic controller who will cause an airplane crash that JUST HAPPENS to happen right over Walt's house.

Jesse starts dating a girl who JUST HAPPENS to be related to the kid who killed Combo.

Nearly every single event in this show that pushes the story forward either comes from a contrived coincidence or taking a previously intelligent character and making them do something uncharacteristically stupid.

Ok. I disagree with all of that. How can the central conceit of a story be a coincidence? You expect thousands of episodes of shows about people who have cancer and aren't chemistry geniuses?

Wasn't that what House was about?
