Hey! Carrie Lam, what's your game girl, can anybody play?

Post by Tdarcos »

Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, folded like a cheap suit when confronted by tens of thousands to millions of protesters, when attempting to put through a new extradition law which would have allowed people to be extradited to Mainland China, a place well known for its long history of deep respect for human rights and due process. This requires you presume that "deep respect" is defined as "wet tissue paper thin."

In view of more than two million protesters in a city of five million, Carrie, who was appointed by the Chinese Premier Xi, decided to put the bill "on the lam" and suspend the proposed law.

This action shows she has some consideration for public opinion. If she was of the kind of mindset of the butchers of Tianmen Square, the bill would have been rammed down the throats of Hong Kong residents.

The title of this post comes from the song, "Hey, Carrie Anne" by The Hollies.
Alan Francis wrote a book containing everything men understand about women. It consisted of 100 blank pages.
