Caltrops reads great on a tablet!
Not really. The forum name list is tiny. It should be adjusted for mobile conditions. Most sites recognize mobile clients so in theory its possible to change the CSS template to account for changes 8n resolution,

Right on! While I have you here, are you thinking of reading ole Caltrops any time soon?
Maybe. I'm on an Android tablet, I don't have my computer yet.

It could have been worse. Nations Bank had such a bad reputation that they merged with the 2nd worst bank in the U.S. and took its name: Bank of America N.T.S.A. (BofA)

On a side note, after BofA had tremendous success introducing the BankAmericard, United California Bank (UCB) introduced its own card, MasterCharge. UCB later changed its name to First Interstate Bank. That bank was eventually bought by Wells Fargo.

So even though Wells is technically the successor to the bank that invented Master Charge, they only issue Visa cards, the successor to BankAmericard.

SunTrust, however, issues MasterCard branded ATM cards, as does Citibank. BB&T issues Visa branded ATM cards. Interesting to see which one Truist keeps.

Agreed, it's a terrible name. It's sad to see two hitherto respectable banks combine and adopt a name that would only make sense for either a snarky political blog or a cult. At least they're getting a lot of negative feedback very early so there's still time to turn back from the precipice.

SunTrust Bank (Which I and one of my corporations is a customer) and BB&T (former customer) are going to merge. The new name for this proposed Spawn of Satan is "Truist." What the unholy fuck is a name like that? Sounds like something puked up by committee. Probably paid some company thousands to think it up.

I think a reasonable person could have thought of a better name than Truist.
