Tdarcos! What was the funniest part of that Family Guy bit?
That they had a presumed Mexican lady, dressed as a maid, sweeping the lane, it's a callback to the stereotypical illegal alien working in the US as a housekeeper.

That is not the funniest part of the bit. Guys, tell him.

Snowboarding in the Olympics has always seemed weird. I understand how the scoring works but at the end of the day it seems difficult to say "this guy's awesome tricks were better than this guy's awesome tricks." There was some scuttlebutt that as long as White didn't fall, he would walk away with the gold. It did seem like he had the run of a lifetime, especially after hearing claims that it was dim that the only thing he could see were those blue lines, but I'm hoping this leads to his retirement from the Olympics. He redeemed himself, great, now walk away and let's see what the next generation can do.

I find the luge amazing because the minute adjustments they make can lead to differences in hundredths of a second. It's crazy that the difference between first and tenth place was like two seconds or something.

I thought the biathlon would be more exciting (guns!) but the race I watched was like 45 minutes long and I just lost interest. They're great athletes and amazing and all that but unless they're shooting at each other it's just not that interesting.

I could talk about curling until you begged me to stop. I love it!

I like snowboarding, but I can't stand Shaun White. I skipped men's halfpipe because I figured he'd win and ZzzzZzZzzz.. I'm looking forward to when he's no longer competing.

Luge events were fun to watch. Cross-country skiing is probably the worst event as it's just plain boring to watch.

Curling looks like it would be fun to play in Real Life.

In this thread we will be talking about the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Are you watching them? What is your favorite event? What is your least favorite event?

Curling: Olympic event, or over-hyped icy version of shuffleboard?

Did you watch Shaun White's historic gold medal run in the icy halfpipe? Or could you not care less?
