No little league, no high school, no college.
I went to one minor league game when I was ten years old. The OKC 89ers used to be a farm team for the Astros (later they became the Redhawks, and are now the OKC Dodgers, a farm team for the LA Dodgers).
I went on "free bat day" with several friends. You got a free bat if you turned in your ticket stub, but we started finding ticket stubs everywhere and traded them in. We spent the entire time asking people for their ticket stubs and trading them in for bats. I came home with the least amount of bats of any of my friends and I got five or six. They made great guitar substitutes and tree-bashing weapons.
During the game some guy asked me if I knew which team was the 89ers. I pointed at one and he said, "are you sure?" and laughed. To this day I don't know if he was laughing because I was right or because I was wrong. But there you go.
