That's not a boast, that's an actual question that this thread will I hope shed some light on.

As I played through the first hour of this game, other than the unmitigated glee I felt playing something that seemed so new and wildly creative, and yet so firmly, confidently aware of all of its influences, I kept thinking "I bet ICJ would love this."

But in the afterglow, now I'm not so sure.
