Regular mousetraps, with the words sanded off and 'octopus trap' written in sharpie. I'm going to set them in out-of-the-way spots in the basement. Don't want the cat getting hurt.

For bait I will wire a quarter to each trigger thingie. Maybe drill holes in the quarters and wire them up that way.

I'm going to build an octopus trap. Three or four of them and put them in my basement.

It's a posterity thing

Where was that, your back room? Now I understand why you got the cat.

This is only proof of irresponsible bird seed storage and now three innocent mice are dead because of it. Shame on you.
As far as I'm concerned, every dead mouse is a victory for humanity and a cause for celebration. Otherwise you get this:

And even if it was, our new Attorney General Jeff Sessions has decided to cancel the Obama Administration guidelines which said the Federal Government was not going to prosecute users or sellers who complied with state law in states where it has been legalized. This despite the fact Donald Trump has stated he wanted to make this a state issue, where it was legal in certain states people would be free to use and sell it, subject to the usual restrictions, e,g. not selling to minors, etc.

AG Sessons is of the opinion that marijuana is worse than heroin. While many people have overdosed on heroin, the total number of people who have died or been injured from an overdose of marijuana in recorded history still stands at 0.0. This is also contravening certain assurances he gave the Congressional committee during his confirmation hearing, as stated by one of the members of Congress from the State of Colorado.

Congress needs to bite the bullet and admit prior policy has been wrong, and remove marijuana from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, which is supposed to be for drugs which are considered to have no legitimate medical use.

Did I mention that three mice got into the bird seed bucket in the garage? When I found them there were only two and a half dead mice. This is proof of mouse control. Ugly pix next!

I don't need drugs. This stuff happens all by itself.

Well HHGG did occur to me as I puzzled out the mice takeover thing. Actually they haven't taken over per se, they've always been there in humankind's background, gently controlling our destinies.

I think the only thing they can't control are cats. That's why we think cats can go anywhere and walk through walls and stuff.

Well, as they said in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy,
"The best laid plans of mice," mutters Slartibartfast, knowingly.
"...and men, " adds Arthur, helpfully.
"hmmm?"
"...and men. The best laid plans of mice and men. That's how the saying goes."
"Oh, men," chuckled Slartibartfast. "I don't imagine they had anything to do with it..."

I'm afraid you're gonna have to roll a persuasion check with disadvantage for that one.

You can't put a price on quality, am I right?

I have a donated Microsoft Razer Reclusa mouse and keyboard and have no idea how or why I should configure the extra doo-dads. They look nice tho. Keyboard is a little mushy, but over it.

Anyway, I believe the mice are, in reality, controlling humanity's future. I'll think up some backing arguments and post more in a bit.
