Beat the Hilda, Genie, and bumper car boss Friday! I'm at roughly 4 hours in.

I bought it, too. I've also got a little over 3 hours into it and am really having fun. I typically can't hang with these super hard boss-bash games, but this one is different. The aesthetic is clearly where it's at, but the gameplay holds up. I just don't know if I can. That genie airplane boss and the bumper car guy are brutal!

Ended up buying it with bitcoin. Great game. Great for 2 players, too. It just takes some practice.

I've had a chance to play it for three hours and every minute has been great. Difficult run and gunner, totally holds up so far. Every time I have died it has been my fault, not the game's.

It does look neat but I think I'll wait until it goes on sale. Too many games!

It looks amazing. I can't wait to watch a walk through on YouTube.

There's no way I could play that and have an intact controller after two minutes.

THE
HOLE IN
THE WALL
AARDVARK

Edit: Holy shit! I just watched an hour of it, with sound. That game's fantastic!

That looks freakin' amazing!

And it does seem like someone should have come up with the idea before. No one did.

Looking forward to playing it.

Amazing. Best graphics of any video game ever made.

There is a pig that runs a store, accessible in the beginning. And unfortunately, if you cannot view this pig and see the movement and the flow of his limbs and the frames of his scowl and understand the sheer amount of effort it took to make him look transported straight from the thirties, well, there's nothing I can do to convince you otherwise.

My brother and I would watch these old cartoons - cartoons that were thirty or forty years old before we saw them - when we were on family trips in Olean. It's like one of them come absolutely to life.

It's also a savagely difficult game. I guess it will always be famous for that video of the guy trying to get past the tutorial, but it is absolutely a platformer that is defeated by recognition and reflexes above all else so far. I love it.

Here's a video for some people unfamiliar with it:
