1. At Google.com, duckduckgo.com, askjeeves.com, or altavista.com, you can use boolean search modifiers. Example:

ICJ can add a Google Search box that essentially does the above, to the forum by following this method: https://programmablesearchengine.google.com/about/ I believe it's free (and Google already indexes everything, so why not) and should be easy to implement in phpBB3 as opposed to a 12 year old, end of life for at least a decade, back-end such as phpBB2.

3. ICJ could move phpBB3 to another system such as Xenforo that enables a more streamlined and simple to admin experience https://xenforo.com/purchase/ A tad pricey as all the options together come to $700, but there ya go.
